Mark Anzalone: The past five years have brought many changes. In 2000, I was living in Chicago. Unfortunately, with the dot com bust in 2000-2001, the company I worked for started laying off, and eventually, I got laid off. Things were pretty tough in the Chicago area. I was offered a job in San Diego and relocated there. I was working for a small tech company that was then acquired by EMC Corp. The job was pretty good, I liked my coworkers, but San Diego was another story. It was almost obscenely expensive to live there. Plus, I decided that California really was not for me.

So, when an opportunity came up in Austin, I chose to move back. But, before I did, there were some other interesting events in my life. I had never sold my home in Austin. While I was gone, I had rented it out. Then, in 2002, my tenant moved out. About 4 weeks or so later, a toilet tank spontaneously cracked. I had been planning a trip back to Austin to fix up the place before renting it out again, but due to work issues, had to delay that trip. Needless to say, when I walked into the house, squished into the carpeting, and saw the mushrooms growing, I was a bit shocked. One mold remediation later and a total renovation of the inside (including gutting the kitchen and bathrooms) and almost of year of working with contractors, the place was ready for move in--turned out to be about 30 days after I moved back to Austin. How convenient. Well, the job I took in Austin was a mistake. I really didn't like the company and I didn't like some of the key people that I had to work with every day. So, after about eight months (June 2004), I submitted my resignation.  The initial agreement was to stay until August, but a week later, they asked me to stay until October. So, I did. In October, I took a long overdue vacation and went to Thailand. I had a wonderful time..... (click here for more)

Gigi-Collins

Gigi Collins: We've been Short Hills, NJ since 1992. Last summer we celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary and returned to Nantucket for our summer vacation/honeymoon with kids! Paige (10) is in 4th grade - she is a competitive gymnast and plays the electric guitar. Michael Jr (7) is in 1st grade - he plays a little soccer and a lot of PS2. Michael Sr is at Deutsche Bank in NYC and is still into computers but has added digital photography to his hobbies. As for me, I have started my own consulting firm for investment research in between my various volunteer jobs at the kid's schools and going to yoga classes. Can't wait to see everyone at our 25th Reunion!!!

Diane (DeGiralamo) Whitmore: Living in North Carolina for 8 years and loving it!!! Gary and I recently celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary. Our eldest son Gary Jr. just turned 20 and is at ECU (East Carolina University). Our youngest son Ryan is in NJROTC at Cary High School.

This all means that Gary and I have officially reached our midlife crisis, which we are representing very well. In the last year, we have purchased 4 cars, a jetski, a ski boat, and lots of audio/visual toys and home furnishings. We have also 'escaped' several times to The Grove Park Inn & Spa in Asheville, NC for lots of pampering. While I've been researching plastic surgery, Gary has been surfing the net for his dream home on a lake. Back to reality ...

I keep myself very busy at Tekelec (telecom equip. manuf.) managing their Services financials, and the Switching Services business functions. I'm also on the Executive Board of my son's NJROTC program. Hobbies? Well, when I'm not working, volunteering, or traveling, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to the beach, being pampered at a spa, or enjoying live music. (pictures coming)

Gabrielle (Dorland) Taylor: Here is a relatively current family picture. Not much to report except that I have gone from three to five children since the last reunion. They are now age 6 months to 8 1/2 years old (three girls and two boys). The two oldest are in school all day (2nd and 3rd grade) and the two little girls are in preschool three mornings a week, so there are times I have only one baby to keep me busy (yay!). Seriously, I’m enjoying being a mom and involved with our children’s and other activities. We are still doing medieval reenactments and I’m getting involved a lot with genealogy research. I’m also on the Board of Directors at our preschool. I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone at our reunion!

Greg Gianforcaro: Things have been going very well for me and my family lately. Most inportant, in November of 2003 my wife, Judy, and I had our first child, Kathryn. Early this August (very soon after the reunion), we are very excited, as we are currently expecting our second child at that time.

As for other news, we are enjoying life in Easton, Pa. and living only approximately seven or so houses down from Chris Henry and his wife Jill and their two children. As far as business goes, I am a lawyer in Phillipsburg, New Jersey and have recently had gotten involved in representing several individuals who were sexually abused within the Catholic Church. The opportunity came in large part because I was a parishioner at St. Joseph's Parish in Mendham and I was also an alterboy under Father James Hanley, who has admitted to abusing many good men who were our classmates in Mendham as well. It's a very sad situation indeed. My parents still live in Mendham and I am looking forward to the reunion in July.
